Case study

Week 12: Moving ahead

The perimeter contours surrounding the lower level have been left unaltered. The blockwork then retains these contours, minimising the cut and fill while preserving the relationship of the house to the existing landscape.

Comments from our client: "Derek started off and did most of the initial design...but we have picked Ivan up at the Town Planning stage, and he took us through most of the detailing. We just said we want a low maintenance and modern house, living downstairs, bedrooms upstairs with a pool."
