City House

Built in an inner city suburb in Brisbane's west, this house conforms with the tight character control design guidelines for "character" homes. And yet explores contemporary building materials and finishes. The sight is 10 metres wide and our response to the narrow width was to angle a series of outdoor spaces and vistas towards the distance views. The close link forged to the external areas is exploited by the use of stacking glass doors to the terraces.
