Week 28: Framing completion

The roof is now on and although the scaffolding hides much of the building work behind it, the internal framing is finished.

Comments from our client: "It was Derek that started off and did most of the design. Essentially he gave us a number of different schemes (based on our needs). We picked our favourite one and went from there."

 

 

 

Project: New House, Western Suburbs

Size: Basement Level - 102m2. Water tank area, garage, lobby, provisional for future rumpus room.

Ground Floor Level - 252m2. Meals, family, kitchen, dining and study spaces, entry and deck.
Upper Level - 147m2. Bedrooms.

Construction: Split face block base, upper two stories in timber framing with brick and fibre cement cladding, metal roof.

Construction timing: Approximately 9 months
